A sweet that refuses to be hurried
Kaja is not a recipe so much as a rhythm. Rest the dough. Roll it thin. Brush it with ghee. Fold, and fold again. Our family has kept that rhythm for over sixty years, and it is the only thing we refuse to change.

Our Journey
Sixty years, one kadai at a time
1962
A single copper kadai
Our grandfather began selling kaja from a cart outside the Nellore bus stand.
1988
The family shop
The first Kaja House counter opened, and the syrup recipe was written down for the first time.
2009
A modern kitchen
An FSSAI-certified kitchen let us keep the hand process while making far more boxes each day.
Today
